Han Chiang University College of Communication (HCUC) and Glasgow Caledonian University (GCU) are exploring future partnerships between both institutions.
Its Glasgow School for Business and Society associate dean international Fran Alston, senior lecturer Dawn Anderson and School of Health and Life Sciences senior lecturer Dr Sharron Blumenthal visited HCUC recently to discuss several potential collaborations such as dual degree programmes in undergraduate and postgraduate studies.
Also present at the meeting were HCUC chief executive and vice chancellor Dr Beh Kok Hooi, HCUC deputy vice chancellors Jenny Khoo Gim Hoon and Dr Ooi Bee Peng, HCUC’s School of Business and Management dean Dr Lim Hui Ling, Acting Head of International Office, Dr Yang Jie, lecturer Lam Yat Kuan and Evon Lee.
Glasgow Caledonian University is a public university in Glasgow, Scotland, which was formed in 1993 by the merger of The Queen’s College, Glasgow (founded in 1875) and Glasgow Polytechnic (founded in 1971).
It has four academic schools, namely, Glasgow School for Business and Society, School of Engineering and Built Environment, School of Health and Life Sciences and GCU London (postgraduate campus).
