Georgetown – Han Chiang University College Of Communication (HCUC) sends a new message to visitors of Penang Municipal Park via “graffiti painting”.
Penang City Council and HCUC jointly organized a graffiti painting effort on Saturday morning that helped Penang Graffiti Park at Penang Municipal Park to brim with culture and art for its visitors.
Participants comprising 29 HCUC students painted “I Love Penang” themed mural paintings in the half-day programme on 18 November 2017. Organising Chairman, Mr Lim Thong Soon said, “this project allows painters to use the walls to paint their graffiti art”.
“The aim of the project is to promote teamwork among students and to give an opportunity to the participants to learn new skills as well as experience graffiti and mural painting”, he added.
The graffiti painting effort which attracted members of the public and exercise buffs at the park was organized for the fifth time at Penang Municipal Park.

Penang Graffiti Park within the Penang Municipal Park was unveiled by the Chief Minister of Penang, Tuan Lim Guan Eng on 20 September 2012 as part of the programme during the 5th Tourism Promotion Organisation Forum 2012.
