Han Chiang College (HCC) is offering its new one-year 2D Animation Production course for May with rebates of up to RM500.
Students on the course will be exposed to the world of animation with the opportunity to learn traditional and digital techniques, and bring 2D animated characters to life.
Students will learn to make characters speak and move while they implement interesting storytelling.
Pegawai Pengesahan Dalaman Mohd Eswandy Bin Asre said that the 2D animation technique is mostly used in anime such as Doraemon, Crayon Shin Chan and local cartoon Usop Sontorian.
“Students who have completed this course can continue their studies to Level 4 in Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM) or HCC’s Diploma in Multimedia, which would then lead to the College’s homegrown degree,” Eswandy said adding that there is a wide range of career opportunities for students to become animators, storyboard artists and multimedia designers.
Upon completion of the 2D Animation Production course students will receive the Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Level 3 certificate.
