PENANG: Han Chiang University College of Communication (HCUC) achieved a significant milestone when the first batch of graduates from its Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Logistics and Supply Chain Management programme were officially conferred membership by the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) Malaysia at the recent CILT Malaysia Convocation held at the Shah Alam Convention Centre.
The five graduates who completed their studies in September 2025, were the first batch to receive membership after HCUC obtained official accreditation from CILT Malaysia in 2024, recognising the institution as a certified CILTM Training Provider.
One of the graduates, Kitty Yeoh expressed her gratitude as she also received the prestigious Best Student Award in recognition of her outstanding academic performance and dedication throughout the programme.
“This achievement motivates me to contribute meaningfully to the logistics industry and uphold the high standards set by CILT and HCUC,” she said.

Meanwhile, Programme Manager Lim Wooi Chin, who is also a Chartered Member of CILT Malaysia shared his pride in the students’ achievements and the university’s progress.
“This accreditation demonstrates our commitment to quality education in logistics and supply chain management while opening more opportunities for our graduates in the field,” he said.
